Eco-town Hawaii is the very first shop opened in the U.S. by Japan’s biggest reuse company, Hard Off. The company’s vision is creating a self-sustaining, virtuous-cycle, reuse market. This was a new and fresh concept for the U.S. market.
The company’s logo was provided by the company. The design team developed the brand color and secondary design visual. All store signage including store signs, storefront awnings, window graphics, store category signs, casher area signs and wall graphics are all original. The design team also created their business tools such as business cards, store cards, flyers and price cards.
Designing small to big graphics before the store opening was satisfying, and actually working on site with the sign company to collaborate closely on materials, sizes and manner of installation of the signage was a new and learning experience for me.
