Aloha Aina Eco-tours

Have you ever wondered why the Hawaii Islands, located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, are blessed by verdant greenery? Plants arrived here on the “3 Ws”, and evolved into Hawaii’s unique botany. The “3 Ws” are Wind, Wing and Wave. Seeds arrived on the wind, were carried by here by wing, or floated here by wave.

Aloha Aina Eco-tours (AAE), established in 2000, is Hawaii’s first Japanese language eco-tour company. Their hiking and botanical tours introduce Hawaii’s unique plant life to visitors. “Aloha Aina” means “love of the land.”

The logo expresses the company’s “love of the land.” Aloha Aina: Love of the land forms three “Ws”. I was excited to discover the inverted visual of three waves making up “AAE.” Just a coincidence?
